TC Sky Rocket, or Rocky to his friends, was foaled on the 30th of March, 2008, and was the first foal to 'hit the ground' for the stud, and he certainly hit it running. He was born to Sky Limit's Tax from the world renowned, and well travelled stallion, King Rocky (see Reference Stallions). He was imported in utero, and born born a mere four months later. Originally his coat was a very distinct black and white, but at the current age of 5 months he has shedded out to a dark blue and white, very similar to his mother's colouring.

As the first foal for the stud he has certainly set the bar high, inheriting his sire's incredible movement and his mother's exceptional intelligence, at his tender age he already ties, floats, stands for the farrier and will even take a bath willingly! He has travelled to the Royal Brisbane Show to take part in the 'Breeds Display' along with Skye, and they both took the crowds, loud noises and other horses in his stride, in fact Rocky felt so comfortable in the new environment, he was asleep in the stall within the hour, despite little fingers reaching through to pat him!

Rocky is also proving himself to have a wonderful, trainable temprement, and he shows a keen interest in any new game or task presented to him, he has an amazing future ahead of him, including both where his own training will take him and as a future founding stud of the Drum Horse breed in Australia.
